The Mancos Library is hosting summer reading programming every Friday throughout the month of July.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>

The Mancos Public Library is inviting children and families to \u201cUnearth a Story\u201d with a month of free summer reading events every Friday in July.<\/p>\n

The program runs Friday, July 3, through Friday, July 31, and will feature special guests and hands-on and family-friendly activities. Drop-in sessions for the Summer Reading Program, open to all ages, are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. each Friday with no registration required. Children ages 3 and under, however, must be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n

A separate Summer Fridays at the Library program will accommodate children aged 4-12 and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program requires weekly online registration at mancoslibrary<\/a>.org<\/a>\/for<\/a>\u2013kids<\/a>. Each session can hold 20 participants.<\/p>\n

There is also a weekly list of special guests, including Crow Canyon Archeological Center on July 3; Cool Science on July 10; Mesa Verde National Park on July 17; SJMA and Canyons of the Ancients on July 24; and T-shirt making, bubble dance party and reading log prizes on July 31. Each speaker will host their own activities for participating children.<\/p>\n
