The Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce will open a new visitor center this spring and celebrate with a membership gala on Thursday, May 7.<\/p>\n

The visitor center will be located in the same building as Millie\u2019s Cafe.<\/p>\n

The event is open to current chamber members and those interested in joining. It will include a recap of the past year, an overview of future plans and a first look at the new visitor center. Attendees will also sample food prepared by Millie\u2019s Cafe\u2019s chef.<\/p>\n

The chamber said the new location features highway-facing signage and sits at a \u201cprime spot\u201d on Grand Avenue at Main Street, with outdoor seating and visibility to more than one million vehicles that travel U.S. Highway 160 into Mancos each year.<\/p>\n

Businesses and individuals may also become visitor center sponsors. Sponsors will receive recognition on the chamber\u2019s social media, website and newsletter, along with logo placement inside the visitor center.<\/p>\n
