{"id":123275,"date":"2013-11-08T01:05:35","date_gmt":"2013-11-08T08:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/fliers-posted-in-news-racks-target-judge\/"},"modified":"2013-11-08T01:05:35","modified_gmt":"2013-11-08T08:05:35","slug":"fliers-posted-in-news-racks-target-judge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/fliers-posted-in-news-racks-target-judge\/","title":{"rendered":"Fliers posted in news racks target judge"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Fliers depicting blood dripping over District Court Judge Doug Walker\u2019s photo have surfaced this week in Cortez Journal news racks.<\/p>\n<p>The fliers say that Walker is the \u201cworst of the worst,\u201d and accuse the judge that the death of a baby is on his hands.<\/p>\n<p>District Attorney Will Furse said he believes that the fliers reference a decision handed down by a Judge Walker to sentence a \u201cbaby killer\u201d to just 90 days in jail.<\/p>\n<p>Furse said he notified Walker of the fliers on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Media outlets and blogs from around the nation criticized Walker after he ruled on Sept. 25, 2012, to sentence then-19-year-old Dylan Kuhn of Dolores to 90 days in jail for killing his infant daughter under a plea bargain.
