Check out the Cowboy Christmas on the Trail and Western Gear Show at the corner of Main and Grand in Mancos. Stop by for a cup of cowboy coffee, and if you\u2019re lucky there will be some warm Dutch oven biscuits. Look for the authentic chuckwagon to roll in and set up about 4 p.m. You will have the chance to check out how cowboy hats are made or how about seeing skilled metal forging, silversmithing and leather craft. You definitely won\u2019t want to miss the annual Mancos Valley Chorus Christmas performances. Their first performance will be at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the United Methodist Church on the corner of Oak and Grand. This free event has limited seating.<\/p>\n
This is your last week to submit your nomination for Citizen of the Year. All nominations must be postmarked or at the Visitor Center by Monday, Dec. 2. The Visitor Center is also having its annual sale on books, maps and gift items.
