Earlier this month National Geographic Adventure named Pagosa Springs one of its 10 \u201cBest Secret Ski Towns of North America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The magazine\u2019s online description says Wolf Creek Ski Area is \u201clong renowned among the powder cognoscenti for having the best snow in the state. As for the town itself there are only two things a skier needs to know about: hot springs and microbreweries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wolf Creek also has one of the lowest lift ticket prices in the state \u2013 an adult all-day ticket is $58.
