The team had six champions, seven second-placers and one third-place finisher out of 14 weight classes.<\/p>\n
Top honors went to: Jeffrey Crites, Zander Eichner, Skieler Grooms, Talon Zwicker, Ethan Long and Ray Christopher. Cameron Chavez, Jalen Boyd, Thaddeus Lee, Cody Lee, Josh Petrow, Dustin Beltran took home silvers, and Zane Eichner took home bronze.<\/p>\n
FFA serves teachers and staff<\/p>\n
The Dolores High School FFA Crew turned out last Friday and served up a spectacular breakfast for teachers and staff. FFA students were there bright and early- even though there was no school \u2013 to serve teachers and staff pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy.<\/p>\n
It was a great way to start the teacher and staff workday.<\/p>\n
They were also able to pull this amazing breakfast off, despite missing their leader, agriculture teacher Jake Gordanier.<\/p>\n
Gordanier was busy last week taking care of his new baby. Benny. Congratulations to the Gordanier family, and your FFA crew was wonderful in your absence.<\/p>\n

Lots of Dolores students showed their stuff this weekend.<\/p>\n
The eighth-grade Destination Imagination team won first place Saturday in Durango.,and the Dolores A Team Club Volleyball team is undefeated for two weekends in a row.<\/p>\n
Great job. Thanks to coach Sandy Jones, Breanna Wallace and Rhonda Majors.<\/p>\n
And middle school student Cody Lee placed fourth at Wrestling Nationals over the weekend as well.<\/p>\n
