{"id":121355,"date":"2014-03-20T23:41:20","date_gmt":"2014-03-21T05:41:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/m-chs-building-support-for-first-after-prom-party\/"},"modified":"2014-03-20T23:41:20","modified_gmt":"2014-03-21T05:41:20","slug":"m-chs-building-support-for-first-after-prom-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/m-chs-building-support-for-first-after-prom-party\/","title":{"rendered":"M-CHS building support for first after-prom party"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Drama and English teacher Nicholaus Sandner is spearheading the party-style event to offer students a safe environment on prom night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to keep students out of trouble,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far we\u2019ve had great feedback from teachers and the community members we\u2019ve talked to,\u201d Sandner added. \u201cThe students who know about it also seem excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sandner said he is soliciting the community to donate big-ticket items for a raffle and door prizes such as gift certificates to help entice students to the event.
