{"id":120152,"date":"2014-05-20T21:18:27","date_gmt":"2014-05-21T03:18:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/mancos-oks-economic-incentives\/"},"modified":"2014-05-20T21:18:27","modified_gmt":"2014-05-21T03:18:27","slug":"mancos-oks-economic-incentives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/mancos-oks-economic-incentives\/","title":{"rendered":"Mancos OKs economic incentives"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The town board passed an economic incentive package to encourage development and remodeling on May 14.<\/p>\n<p>The town will reduce some fees for new businesses under 5,000 square feet or remodels by half or up to $3,000.<\/p>\n<p>Through 2015 new businesses get break on sign permit applications, business licenses, zoning development permits and building permits.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses will still be required to pay for impact fees, special use permits, connection or disconnection fees and building inspection fees.<\/p>\n<p>The town is also offering small grants to share the cost of upgrading a store front. The town will split the cost of upgrades with a business owner up to $1000.
