{"id":117335,"date":"2014-10-07T18:47:49","date_gmt":"2014-10-08T00:47:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/town-board-to-tour-boyle\/"},"modified":"2014-10-07T18:47:49","modified_gmt":"2014-10-08T00:47:49","slug":"town-board-to-tour-boyle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/town-board-to-tour-boyle\/","title":{"rendered":"Town board to tour Boyle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Mancos Town Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, but instead of in the board room, they will meet at Boyle Park to start things off.<\/p>\n<p>Board members plan to meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. to tour Boyle Park.<\/p>\n<p>And from there, they will take a stroll through the park.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a board member who is interested to see if there are ways to improve access to the park,\u201d Mancos Town Administrator Andrea Phillips said.<\/p>\n<p>Board members are expected to tour the park and look at the access points.<\/p>\n<p>At one point you could drive through the parking lot behind Town Hall,\u201d Phillips said.<\/p>\n<p>That area was closed for safety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea at the time, is that it would be safer,\u201d Phillips said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, board members are expected to inspect other access points to the park and look at the new landscaping.<\/p>\n<p>At 7 p.m., board members are expected to reconvene in the Town Hall board room for regular business.<\/p>\n<p>Board members are expected to hear an introduction of the 2015 budget, which must be presented in October and approved by Dec. 16.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is just the first budget draft, and it can and probably will change,\u201d Phillips said.<\/p>\n<p>Board members are also expected to hear a report on organic methods of fertilizer and weed control.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParks and Recreation coordinator Leslie Hopkins has been experimenting with all sorts of methods,\u201d Phillips said.<\/p>\n<p>Her report will be discussed by board members.<\/p>\n<p>Board members are also expected select a contractor for the Water System Project Wednesday and discuss the sidewalk\/concrete project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trustees will examine access<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[6371],"tags":[13],"naviga_topic":[],"class_list":["post-117335","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-mt-news","tag-frontpage-lead"],"acf":[],"author_name":"dh_admin","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/117335","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=117335"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/117335\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=117335"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=117335"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=117335"},{"taxonomy":"naviga_topic","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/naviga_topic?post=117335"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
