Get your favorite dish ready and head on over to Grand Avenue in Mancos.<\/p>\n
The town of Mancos will close off the streets and you can dine Sunday, Oct. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the streets.<\/p>\n
Mancos Town Administrator Andrea Phillips said this will be a great opportunity to enjoy the fall weather and meet new people.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are inviting everyone,\u201d Phillips said.<\/p>\n
The potluck is a coordinated effort between the Mancos Creative District, The Mancos Public Library and the Mt. Lookout Grange.<\/p>\n
The idea is to bring a table, chairs, plates and a dish to share.<\/p>\n
There is a contest for the best centerpiece. Judging begins at 5 p.m. and setup begins at 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cOther communities have done this and I hope it is a big success here,\u201d Phillips said. \u201cLet\u2019s line Grand Avenue with tables.\u201d<\/p>\n
The library is expected to have activities for children.<\/p>\n
