FFA week continued Wednesday with America Day and a Fear Factor assembly, which included eating gross things.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, FFA students plan to dress in pink for Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day, and to read to younger kids about agriculture. On Friday, students wrap up FFA week with Lumberjack Day, and a tough man competition at lunch.<\/p>\n

The competition was tough last week at the Dolores Elementary School Spelling Bee, but when the dust settled, the winner was Avery Wright. Cody Farias came in second, and Hazel Smith came in third .<\/p>\n
Hungry for McDonalds?<\/p>\n
Dolores teachers will take over the McDonald\u2019s in Cortez on Feb. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
Teachers will serve food, and 15 percent of the proceeds goes to the school. The event is sponsored by the Dolores Parent Teacher Association.<\/p>\n
