The concert should have the audience dancing in the aisles.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have over 10 male voices in the chorus this spring,\u201d said Kriss Larsen, Director of the Chorus for the past 15 years. \u201cThey provide wonderful balance and support for our female voices.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drums and bass, together with Lee Bartley at the piano, will accompany the chorus.<\/p>\n

Concerts in Mancos are followed by a reception, where the audience can talk with Chorus members over punch and refreshments. All concerts are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Concerts are scheduled for May 3-8 and include a concert for residents of the Valley Inn in Mancos, an afternoon family concert in Mancos, and three evening concerts in Mancos, Durango and Cortez. For more information or to make a donation to the chorus, go to mancosvalleychorus.org.<\/p>\n

May 3 (3:30 p.m.) and May 8 (7 p.m.) at Mancos Methodist Church, 470 W. Grand.<\/p>\n

May 5 (7 p.m.) at First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park, Cortez.<\/p>\n
