The Mancos School District has simplified the registration process for new and returning students in kindergarten through 12th grade.<\/p>\n
An online registration form will become available on the district website (www.mancosre6.edu) starting Wednesday, July 22.<\/p>\n
The form has been designed to be user-friendly, and the district hopes parents\/guardians will take advantage by registering their students online before Aug. 10. Deadline to register by is Wednesday, Aug. 12.<\/p>\n
If you don\u2019t have Internet access, stop by the Mancos Public Library to register online.<\/p>\n
Returning students and parents who register online don\u2019t need to be present for registration; however, if parents who need assistance may register in person on Monday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Mancos High School, where each school\u2019s secretary will be able to assist and answer any questions.<\/p>\n
All new K-12 students may complete the online registration but must appear at the Aug. 10 registration to present a birth certificate and immunization records. Previous school records must also be provided for students registering in grades 1 through 12.<\/p>\n
All preschool students must register in person at the Mancos Early Learning Center beginning Aug. 6. Parents must provide the child\u2019s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of income.<\/p>\n
All students must register before classes start. If you miss registration, stop by the school office to update student information.<\/p>\n
Supply lists for students are available on the district\u2019s website now or may be picked up at the school after Aug. 10.<\/p>\n
The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, Aug. 25.<\/p>\n
