The local League of Women Voters will hear an overview of what is new in Colorado and with federal legislation for behavioral health care on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 9 a.m. at the Ponderosa Restaurant in Dolores.<\/p>\n
The presenter will be retired District Judge Sharon Hansen who served on the statewide study resource panel for the League of Women Voters of Colorado.<\/p>\n
Hansen has said that \u201cColorado is 52nd (including all states and territories) in its number of inpatient behavioral health beds.\u201d This situation comes after Colorado closed down mental health facilities a few years ago.<\/p>\n
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting in Dolores.<\/p>\n
