Sandie Gregory, president of the Mancos Lions for the past two years, has stepped down and will join her husband, Rick, who has retired from the Baptist Church, in a tour of the states for the next few months. Acting president Val Hobson, standing in for the newly elected Howard Thomas, is making plans for the annual Lions Halloween party. \u201cThis year, it will be held at the Mancos Community Center, on Oct. 31, 6:30-8:30 p.m. All children are invited, free of charge.<\/p>\n
