{"id":109831,"date":"2015-08-31T18:11:38","date_gmt":"2015-09-01T00:11:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/whos-in-whos-out-on-m-chs-coaching-staff\/"},"modified":"2015-08-31T18:11:38","modified_gmt":"2015-09-01T00:11:38","slug":"whos-in-whos-out-on-m-chs-coaching-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/whos-in-whos-out-on-m-chs-coaching-staff\/","title":{"rendered":"Who\u2019s in, who\u2019s out on M-CHS coaching staff?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The status of the coaching staff at Montezuma-Cortez High School was uncertain Monday after head coach Dave Wagner announced that three assistant coaches had resigned.<\/p>\n<p>According to Wagner, assistants Tim Robinson, Scott Conklin and Kirby Case had all resigned between Saturday and Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>There were also questions surrounding defensive coordinator Keith Mikhail\u2019s role with the team after a disagreement with Wagner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI gave him my opinion,\u201d Mikhail said. \u201cAnd when I voiced my opinion he said, \u2018It\u2019s my team.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had disagreements about the offense,\u201d Wagner said. \u201cBut as head coach, ultimately, it\u2019s my decision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, on Monday night, Mikhail and assistants Robinson, Conklin and Case were on the sidelines during the junior varsity game against Ignacio, but Wagner was in the bleachers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got fired today at 3:45,\u201d Wagner said at the game. \u201cThat was it.
