A southbound deceleration and right-turn lane onto westbound P also will be installed.<\/p>\n<p>The improvements include two layers of asphalt, and asphalt approaches on CR P.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will be minor widening to accommodate these auxiliary lanes,\u201d said CDOT spokesperson Nancy Shanks. \u201cPeople turning left onto Road P will no longer be sitting ducks, and have their own left turn lane as they wait for a break in traffic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The estimated budget is $1.6 million for design through construction, which is expected to be completed by Nov. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Old Castle Southwest Inc. was awarded the contract.
