Butler, in Houston. With its local monthly payroll of $100,000, they are doing their part of distributing some much-needed capital within a 100-mile radius of Mancos.<\/p>\n<p>The average number of Geoquest employees from the Montelores area is 27, with an additional 10 contracted from elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Board considers  impact funds<\/p>\n<p>The approval of $310,000 in energy impact funds for the Mancos School District was the main item on the agenda during the school board\u2019s meeting Nov. 15.<\/p>\n<p>School superintendent Julio Archuleta, reported that he will apply immediately for county facilitation funds (fees collected from land developers and subdividers) with school board approval, which was granted.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Archuleta will establish a building fund and ask for bid presentations for the entire project which will include a new multi-purpose facility ad two new classrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Archuleta and board member Charles Mitchell, will be responsible for screening applicants before their presentations.
