He was followed by Simon Kearns in 61st (17:28).<\/p>\n<p>Jake McKie (18:24), Adrian Hernandez (18:36) and Asa Kearns (18:39) finished in a bunch, crossing the line in 103rd, 107th and 110th place. Teslin Stecher (19:20) rounded out the team in 136th.<\/p>\n<p>The boys finished 9th as a team against teams from Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe conditions were great and the course was pretty fast,\u201d coach Brady Archer said in an e-mail after the race. \u201cWe had Adrian Hernandez step in and practice for a couple of weeks after the football season and then come run with the other guys.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, some of the guys have been battling some illness that robbed them of some of their conditioning,\u201d he continued. \u201cThat being said, they ran really well. It was great to go down and be a part of such an incredible event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Corbin All-American<\/p>\n<p>Kelsey Corbin, 2011 Mancos High School graduate, is now an All-American.
