The Durango &amp; Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad helped Durango beat out Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Park City, Utah, in the listing.<\/p>\n<p>The town should also please rednecks who come to town, as it was also named in a top 10 list of the most redneck towns in Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>Durango came in No. 8 in the redneck listing by Roadsnacks, an infotainment site, because of it\u2019s high number of bars, tobacco stores and fishing-gear and ammo outlets per capita.
