Stakeholders in the region\u2019s potential broadband connectivity project are invited to give feedback at a planning meeting April 13 in Cortez.<\/p>\n
The meeting, put on by the Southwest Colorado Council of Governments (SWCCOG), will take place at First National Bank from 9 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.<\/p>\n
SWCCOG is attempting to develop a plan that utilizes the region\u2019s Southwest Colorado Access Network to bring high-speed broadband Internet to more homes and businesses in Montezuma and Dolores counties.<\/p>\n
Cortez general services director Rick Smith said the group is trying to get as many people involved in the discussion as possible.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re asking different groups to come in at different times to see how we can improve on (the network) and make it more effective,\u201d Smith said.<\/p>\n
Members of designated groups are asked to attend the meeting during scheduled time slots.<\/p>\n
