CEI recruited M-CHS to enroll in the two-year grant program, which will start during the 2016-2017 school year. The funding covers the fee to take an AP test and pays for more teacher training, as well as providing for student study sessions, Wayman said.<\/p>\n
The program will help fund more training sessions for teachers so they can better understand how to teach the material, Wayman said.<\/p>\n
Those sessions will include showing teachers how AP tests are graded, so they can help students get a higher score on the test, he said.<\/p>\n
In the past, M-CHS has sent one or two teachers to training for teaching AP classes, but Wayman said the school will send 10 to 15 teachers this summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
