Park St., Cortez.<\/p>\n<p>The library also plans to maintain logs for children ages 0-6 and 7-12 and for teens.<\/p>\n<p>The library\u2019s Family Entertainment Series runs Tuesdays at 2 p.m. from June 7 through July 12. The series schedule follows:<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">June 7: Denise Gard and her Border Collie, Sienna, explore animal tales from around the world<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">June 14: Kate O\u2019Kami uses limberjack puppets and storytelling for an hour of entertainment, followed by a workshop<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">June 21: Internationally acclaimed magician Eli returns, followed by a workshop<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">June 28: Luke Renner brings yo-yos and magic<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">July 5: Salida Circus hosts its Olympic Games<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">July 12: Rocky Mountain Puppets climbs Mount Healthmore for a grand finale to the series<\/em>The library will sponsor a drawing for a prize at the end of the program.<\/p>\n<p>More information: 970-565-8117.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cortez Public Library\u2019s summer reading program focuses on health this year with the theme, \u201cOn Your Mark, Get Set, Read.\u201d The program runs May 25 through Aug. 20.
