A park naturalist will lead butterfly walks every Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. At 4 p.m. on Saturdays, children and adults are invited to play games about the wildlife and habitat of the park. A 10 a.m. nature walk will take place on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>More events will be announced. The park is located north of Mancos on Road 42. Slim McWilliams is a local cowboy poet and singer.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Saturday, June 25 Performance in the Park, 7 p.m.<\/div>\n<p>Meet in the amphitheater for music and fun for all ages. Meet in the amphitheater.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Sunday, July 3<\/div>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Independence Day Parade, noon<\/div>\n<p>Meet at the covered picnic area to get \u201ccreped out\u201d in patriotic colors and follow the music as we parade through the main campground. Creative costumes encouraged.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Saturday, July 9<\/div>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Sweetwater Station, 7 p.m.<\/div>\n<p>Local favorite Marilyn Kroeker and her band Sweetwater Station will perform at the amphitheater.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Saturday, Aug. 27<\/div>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Nature Walk, 9 a.m.<\/div>\n<p>Meet at the covered picnic area to discover the unique sights and sounds for morning wildlife, unique plants, and explore the Vista Trail to the bridge and back.
