The Dolores River Anglers plan to hold their annual business meeting along with a casting clinic on Monday, Sept. 25, at the WildEdge Brewery in Cortez.<\/p>\n
Several important by-laws will be discussed and voted upon, along with revisions to the Anglers\u2019 strategic plan, according to the group\u2019s news release.<\/p>\n
A special program will follow the business meeting, which will include casting tips and presentation by renowned IFA casting instructor \u201cBear\u201d Samples, of the Durango Five Rivers TU Chapter. Dolores River Anglers are encouraged to bring their fly rods for one-on-one coaching to improve their casting performance.<\/p>\n
The board meeting runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a meet-and-greet from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and the general membership\u2019s meeting and presentation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It\u2019s all at the Wild Edge Brewery, 111 N.
