Lawrence\u2019s victories included top finishes in the 100-yard individual medley (1:22.73), the 50-yard backstroke (44.82), the 25-yard butterfly (16.12), the 200-yard freestyle (2:38.39), the 100-yard freestyle (1:11.58), the 50-yard backstroke (37.41), the 25-yard breaststroke (19.79), and the 200-yard individual medley (3:00.09).<\/p>\n<p>Trent Bagge also enjoyed a solid meet as the 15-year-old competed in the boys\u2019 15-and-over division, racing to victories in the 50-yard freestyle (24.58), 100-yard freestyle (55.42), 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.04), and 200-yard individual medley (2:25.06).<\/p>\n<p>Jayden White finished first in the 100-yard freestyle (1:50.05), 25-yard freestyle (21.48), 50-yard backstroke (53.20), and 100-yard breaststroke (2:43.43) in the girls\u2019 7-8 age division, while Maddy Ludington won the 200-yard breaststroke (3:36.96), 100-yard breaststroke (1:36.46), and 25-yard breaststroke (19.50) in the girls\u2019 15-and-over age division.<\/p>\n<p>Other three-event winners for the Mesa Verde Aquatics Club included Bodie Fischer, who won the 50-yard freestyle (1:48.40), the 25-yard freestyle (51.72) and the 50-yard backstroke (1:20.92) in the boys\u2019 6-and-under age division, and Lucas Decker, who finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (47.19), the 25-yard backstroke (25.23), and the 25-yard butterfly (25.73) in the boys\u2019 7-8 age division.<\/p>\n<p>Anna Lawrence won the 100-yard individual medley (1:16.49) and the 25-yard butterfly (14.41) in the girls\u2019 13-14 age division, and Austin Anderson won the 25-yard backstroke (19.86) and the 25-yard butterfly (21.53) in the girls\u2019 11-12 age division.<\/p>\n<p>Other event winners included Jasmine Burris, who captured first place in the 25-yard backstroke (19.86) and the 25-yard butterfly (21.53) in the girls\u2019 11-12 age division, and Kason Decker, who finished first in the 25-yard backstroke (20.00) in the boys\u2019 11-12 age division.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out Mesa Verde Aquatic Club\u2019s event winners was Dannika Goodall, who finished first in the 25-yard freestyle (18.14) in the girls\u2019 9-10 age division.<\/p>\n<p>Event winners representing the Cortez Leopard Sharks were Ryan Cutrone, who won the 100-yard individual medley (1:01.42), the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.14), and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.91) in the boys\u2019 15-and-over age division, and Tyler Cutrone, who finished first in the 50-yard breaststroke (31.78) in the boys\u2019 15-and-over age division.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lawrence wins eight events for Mesa Verde Aquatics Club at six-team meet<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":101421,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[5770],"tags":[21,346,514],"naviga_topic":[],"class_list":["post-101420","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-high-school-sports","tag-cortez","tag-sports","tag-swimming"],"acf":[],"author_name":"dh_admin","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/101420","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=101420"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/101420\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/101421"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=101420"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=101420"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=101420"},{"taxonomy":"naviga_topic","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/naviga_topic?post=101420"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
