The application deadline is April 27.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs your local trash and recycling company, Waste Management believes in giving back to the community,\u201d said District Operations Manage, Jack Caviness. \u201cWe provide good-paying jobs and benefits to more than 30 men and women in our community, and this scholarship is a way to help young people get off to a good start.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility is based on a few factors. Applicants must be a 2018 graduating senior from Southwest Open Charter School or Dolores, Dove Creek, Mancos or Montezuma-Cortez high schools.
