West Cortez crash causes minor injury

One person taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 160 and U.S. 491 in west Cortez sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries, rescue officials said. Traffic was rerouted around the crash, which occurred about 4 p.m. and is under investigation by the Cortez Police Department.
