The Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo committee hosts Rodeo Days at the Cortez Public Library at 10 a.m. on May 31 and June 7.
The committee plans stories and activities, a demonstration of rodeo and ranch equipment, a visit by rodeo royalty and a rodeo cowboy, crafts, steer roping, stick-horse races and a photo opportunity.
Each child receives a free rodeo ticket if accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
