Qualified candidates must be a registered voter for the past 12 months, a U.S. citizen, be at least 18 years old, and be a resident of District A., which is an area south of Main Street. In addition, any person who has been convicted of, pled guilty or nolo contendere to, or received a deferred judgment or sentence for commission of a sexual offense against a child is ineligible for election to a school district board of education.
