The San Juan National Forest will be releasing a proposal to expand the nonmotorized Boggy Draw trail system this summer by 25 miles. The forest is reviewing a proposal submitted by the Southwest Colorado Cycling Association to build additional trails in the Bean Canyon area, and north of the Boggy and Italian Canyon trails. A scoping plan is being prepared for release this July, which will include details and give the public an opportunity to comment.
