Molas Pass to Silverton was at 80 percent of peak colors on Tuesday, according to the San Juan National Forest Service Fall Color Report. The crew in this Jeep was above Silverton on Friday, catching autumn’s show. The Fall Color Report says next week could see peak colors in many areas. On Tuesday, Silverton to Red Mountain Pass was at 75 percent of peak, Dolores to Lizard Head Pass was at 25 percent of peak, and Mancos to the La Platas was at 20 percent.
