A series of recent snowstorms have blanketed the San Juan Mountains. Snowpack for Southwest Colorado is at 117% of the 30-year average, and more snow is expected Thursday and Friday. Telluride could have 5 new inches by Friday evening. Even Cortez has an 80% chance of seeing some snow Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
