The Turkey Knolls Aspen Sale will harvest 344 acres of mature aspen totaling 10,438 CCF of timber. The harvest of this mature aspen will promote diversity of aspen age and size class, initiate a new stand of aspen through sprouting, and provide needed aspen volume for a local mill in Mancos.
