Montezuma School to Farm Project will offer a summer youth program from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Thursday at multiple locations. Parents are invited to participate from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays.

The program focuses on hands-on activities like planting, harvesting, cooking and games and is open to students who have completed kindergarten to fifth grade for the 2020-2021 school year. Students are welcome at any location.

The program will offer these camps:

June 7-10, Kemper Elementary, art and nature theme. Registration deadline May 28. Make nature pinch pots, flower lollipops, friendship bracelets and preparing foods.June 14-17, Manaugh Elementary, trash and recycling theme. Registration deadline June 4. Play a recycling relay game, make bags out of old T-shirts, learn about recycling plastics and prepare foods.June 28-July 1, Mesa Elementary, water theme. Registration deadline June 18. Perform a water filtration experiment, play a water relay, plant native plants and prepare foods.July 12-15, Dolores Elementary, gardening theme. Registration deadline July 2. Make a terrarium to take home, dissect a flower, make a bug hotel and prepare foods.
