The film covers the May 1974 death of Ignacio woman Neva Romero. Romero was known as “Miss Ignacio High School,” homecoming queen and a varsity cheerleader before she – a University of Colorado student at the time – and two other Chicano activists were killed in a Boulder car bombing. Her murder remains unsolved.
