A fire crew from Oregon helps out with fire prevention around the Anasazi Heritage Center by clearing scrub oak close to the employee parking lot. Fire crews from around the country have been staying at the San Juan Public Lands facility above Dolores while waiting for staging instructions for the West Fork fire complex near Wolf Creek. When the crews are waiting for a couple of days they've been helping out with fire mitigation in the area.
