The program will reimburse residents the lesser of $100/day or 50% of the chipper rental cost or mitigation contractor cost. Rebates are also available to homeowner associations that sponsor a chipping day.
The program will run until Oct. 30, 2016. Rebate forms are available at www.southwestcoloradofires.org (for the Homeowner tab) and most equipment rental stores.
