Faces in the Crowd: The Restorer

A feature of The Dolores Star that matches faces with names of the people who make up the town of Dolores and keep it going.

Anne Corrine Patillo, of Dolores, teaches dance and yoga. She recently earned credentials in restorative yoga and now offers classes on the technique at Heart and Core Studios in Cortez.<br><br>She also offers home yoga instruction visits. Yoga therapy helps to heal pain, trauma, insomnia and stress. <br><br>"It goes beyond the physical and restores the emotional and spiritual health of participants," Patillo says. <br><br>She also teaches belly dance, was a professor of performing arts at Fort Lewis College for eight years and  directs Troupe Verde, a community dance group that performs locally. <br><br>"No experience is necessary for my dance and yoga classes.
