Rain slowed the construction of the foundation for the new Osprey Packs headquarters at Empire Street and Mildred Road, just east of Park Street. The backpack company’s 26,310-square-foot building will contain offices, meeting spaces, a lobby and a showroom, according to city planning documents. A courtyard is planned outside the building’s south side. The combined courthouse is being built just west of Park Street and south of the Montezuma County jail.
