First United Methodist Christian School prekindergarten students Logan Muraro, left, and Avery Blalock stack boxes filled with school supplies, hygiene items and toys for children in need in foreign countries as part of Operation Christmas Child. First United Methodist Church, 2917 Aspen Drive, is the central collection site for the Four Corners for the operation, sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse. Volunteers expect to collect nearly 3,800 boxes by Monday afternoon. Logan is the son of Kristen and Matt Muraro of Durango. Avery is the daughter of Amanda and Charlie Blalock of Durango.
