Rose Jergens shows judge Bob Waggoner her pancake, damaged after a few drops during her run in the pancake-flipping race Tuesday at St. Barnabas Church. The church held its annual Mardi Gras Pancake Supper to benefit Grace’s Kitchen, a soup kitchen at the church. The supper included a pancake-flipping contest, in which contestants flip a pancake as many times as they can without dropping it while running or walking around the block.
