Markada May and Damien Whiteman of Towaoc would like to announce the birth of their daughter Kayleah Serenity Whiteman. Kayleah was born on Jan. 8, 2014, at 11:55 a.m. at Southwest Memorial Hospital. She was 5 pounds, 2 ounces and 18 1/8 inches long. Kayleah’s maternal grandmother is Marilyn Salt, and her paternal grandparents are Valerie Whyte and Darrin Whiteman. Other special family members are Emily Ute Whiteman and the late Darwin L. Whiteman Sr. Kayleah also has numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
