San Juan National Forest will open access to McPhee Reservoir in Dolores for motorized boating on April 16.

Operational hours for the main boat ramp are:

April 16-30: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
May 1-Sept. 19: 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sept. 20-Oct. 31: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Current boat registration is required to launch a vessel on the reservoir. Registration information can be found at https://cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/BoatingRegistrations.aspx.
