Colton and Kara Mikkelson listen to cowboy songs at the Cortez Public Library’s Rodeo Days. The Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo opens Thursday night at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds with performances through Saturday at 7 p.m. each night. The Chuck Wagon BBQ is Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at City Park, and The Ute Mountain Rodeo Dance, starring Vanishing Breed, is Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at American Legion Post 75. Rodeo tickets may be purchased at utemountainroundup.org.
