Collision at West Y

A man was taken to the hospital with lacerations to the head after his pick-up collided with a semitrailer at the West Y in Cortez on Monday, July 28. Police said the incident is under investigation. The Colorado Department of Transportation reminds drivers that a flashing yellow light at the intersection of U.S. 160 and U.S. 491 cautions drivers to yield to oncoming traffic.
