2 men injured in motorcycle-pickup collision

A Harley-Davidson came to rest in the middle of the road Thursday afternoon after colliding with a Ford pickup near County Road 225A and U.S. Highway 160 east of Elmore’s Corner. Both the driver of the motorcycle, a 70-year-old man from Missouri, and the driver of the pickup, an 80-year-old man from Durango, were taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, said Trooper Uriah Talbot with the Colorado State Patrol. The extent of their injuries were not immediately available.
