This is Jax, he is a shepherd mix adult male. He gets along with other dogs and is great with kids. Jax needs a secure fenced yard. Cortez Animal Shelter hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Cortez Animal Shelter also accepts donations such as bleach, Clay cat litter, Pedigree or Iams dog food, Iams puppy food, Purina cat chow and kitten chow, dish soap, paper towels, and dog treats. Adoption fees include altering, microchip, first vaccines except rabies, and a free health exam at any local vets. For more information call the Cortez Animal Shelter at 565-4910.
