Durango High School volleyball players Mason Rowland, Leah Wolf and Eva Stewart were recently honored by the 5A/4A Southwestern League for their performances this year on the court.
Rowland landed on the all-conference first team while Wolf and Stewart both made the second team.
Rowland and Wolf are both juniors. Stewart was the only freshman honored by the league.
Rowland recorded a team-high 252 kills this season. She also had 302 digs, 38 aces, 33 blocks and 297 assists.
Wolf served a team-high 349 service attempts and 49 aces. Wolf also had 181 kills, 295 digs and 301 serve receipts.
Stewart dished out the passes to her teammates and accounted for 392 of Durango’s 730 assists. Stewart also had 50 kills, 23 aces, 21 blocks, 148 digs and received 301 serves.
Joining Rowland on the first team were Kelsey Rocco and Madisen Matoush of Montrose and Trinity Hafey, Hayden Murray, BayLea Sparks and Jillian Buck of Fruita Monument.
The second team included Taylor Foster of Montrose, Brady Thomason of Fruita Monument, Leanna Clement of Grand Junction and Rhyan Mason and Maylana Thomas of Grand Junction Central.
