Rep. Jeff Hurd has taken on a challenging position.
In addition to fairly representing the diverse views of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, his job description includes oversight of the executive branch, lawmaking and federal budgetary control.
Add in a polarizing, unstable, lame duck Republican Party leader and the usual set of concerns around reelection and the job get even tougher.
